The Real Suspect Episode 22

The death of Mr. Kole in his office was a shock to everyone. His body has already been taken to the mortuary but the Police were on tight inspection to find out what or who really killed him. Accoring to the tests made on his dead body, he was diagnosed to be killed by poison.
Inspector Richard accompained by Officer Delight a female officer walked briskly into the company of Mr. Kole.. Everybody was still sad about the happening that occured that day so they all sat down.
”Good Morning Madam” Inspector Richard greeted Natasha who was the first person they saw but Natasha didn’t reply
”We are officers from Division 2, headquarters” Richard said and everyone’s mind flew off
”Now, we have to have a private talk with each and everyone of you” Delight said further and everyone starred at each other.
The officers talked with all other workers and then turned to Anita.
”Good day Madam” Richard greeted
”Good day” Anita replied
”What do you think killed Mr. Kole” Richard asked
”How can I know when I didn’t do it” Anita replied
”But his diagnose said he died of poison, do you know if he had problems with anyone earlier?” Richard asked further and Anita was shocked at the question
”No.. I don’t know” Anita replied
”Alright, thank you Ma for your time” Richard concluded and left her. Now was the turn of Natasha
”Good day Madam” Delight greeted
”Good day officer” Natasha replied
”Has there been any case of Mr. Kole with anyone you know of?” Delight asked
”No Officer, I am his P.A but I don’t know of any serious case with him or any other person” Natasha replied
”But you were the last person to enter his office the moment it happened” Richard querried her
”Yes.. Bu..” Natasha tried replying but her phone rang. She looked at it and it was Clara. She dropped the phone but Richard ordered her to pick up the call, so she picked it up. She heard Clara crying from the phone and she stood up
”What happened Clara?” She asked
”What!!!” Natasha exclaimed and the phone fell off her ear
”What is it?” Richard requested to know
”A lady just died in my apartment” Natasha replied and tears rolled down her cheek..

”Heii!!! My husband ooh.. My husband!” Mrs. Kole cried bitterly with tears rolling down her eyes
”Who has done this to me ooh.. Who have I wronged” She cried further as Mr. Ayodele, Lance and Anita tried to hold her.. Her tears flowed heavily. Just then, Kehinde and Adesua rushed in
”Tell me it’s not true” Kehinde said seeing his mother crying and people consoling her.
”No.. No.. This can’t be” Kehinde shouted and fell in tears. Lance rushed him immediately. Adesua held herself a bit but the agony still burnt in her heart.. As the crying atmosphere was flowing, Kehinde’s phone rang, Adesua picked it up
”Hello..” She said drying her tears
”Now!!??” She asked and dropped the call.
”Who was that?” Kehinde asked
”The Police needs our presence at the complex now” Adesua replied and everyone starred at her
”For what?” Lance asked
”Betty has been confirmed dead” Adesua said and placed her hands on her head
”Who is Betty?” Mrs. Kole and Anita asked at the same time but they did not reply.. In tears, Kehinde grabbed his car keys and rushed out with Adesua
”You will hurt yourself” Lance exclaimed
”I have to follow him, he will hurt himself” Lance said and rushed out yelling Kehinde’s name..

”Now, everybody listen, this is a real big case and all of you is a Suspect as at now” Richard’s voice sounded loud as everyone starred at him.
”You dare not leave town as from now nor make any movement without the notice of the police” Richard added
”As you all know, tacing you down won’t be hard as your faces and pictures are all over the town” Delight added
”Just hold to heart that this won’t be easy with anyone” Richard added
”Good day” He concluded and drove out with Delight. As they drove out, everybody became confused and short of words..

”Cheii!! Madam Betty just go like that ooh” Musa cried as Abigail sat beside him
”Fine girl like that just go” Abigail added
”Who fit kill am” Musa asked
”I no just know, everybody for this house na suspect ooh” Abigail said
”Even you and me” Abigail added
”Ehhh!!?? I no do anything ooh” Musa exclaimed
”So you no hear the officer talk am abi?” Abigail said to Musa
”Heii… Allah please save us ooh” Musa exclaimed

”Darling, do you have a hand in Betty’s death?” Kehinde asked Adesua as they sat inside
”What do you mean by that?” Adesua asked shockingly looking at him
”Yes of course, you never liked her due to what transpired between her and I” Kehinde said to Adesua
”And that is the reason why you are blaming me for her death?” Adesua asked Kehinde harshly
”I’m just asking, say it early enough” Kehinde said
”Kehinde i never liked her, but I’m not a killer” Adesua said and both starred at each other
