Simi: Baby girl, can you guess what just happened some minutes ago?
Tonia: You and this your guessing, abeg, I don’t have strength for that now.
Simi: No na, okay, let me help you out. My husband is so sweet, he is truly the answer to my prayers.
Tonia: Ehn ehn, so, tell me, what has he done this time around?
Simi: He bought me a house, he said it’s my push gift. Right now, I am just so happy and grateful to God. I am glad I didn’t turn his proposal down and to think, I almost did.
Tonia: Wow! Congratulations dear, more of it in Jesus’ name. My regards to your husband and baby.
Simi: I will surely extend my greetings. Mind you, I am expecting your wedding invitation card. I can’t wait to see you walk down the aisle.
Tonia: God will do it.
Tonia ended the call almost immediately only to see her mother standing behind her.
Mrs. Mike: Just take a look at yourself, you can’t bring a man home, the only thing you know how to do is to attend other people’s weddings and listen to their testimonies.
