THE EVIL TEDDY Episode 11 – The Mystery Man
Six P.M the next day , Innocent was in the airport to fetch his boss ,he recognized his boss , coming along with a throng of passengers who had just disembarked from their flights, Michael was wearing a sky blue polo shirt , with a black face cap and black jeans , he was pulling the suitcase by his side , Innocent rushed up to him , and collected the suitcase.
“You’re welcome sir , how was your journey ?” Innocent said Michael told him it was nice , he asked to be taken to the hotel.
They drove from the airport to Havana hotel at the ministers hill . They got on an elevator that took them to the twelfth floor of the twenty storeys hotel complex, he gently tapped on the door ,Jessica came to the door , Lilley standing to the back of her mum, when she saw her dad her face lighted up , she jumped on him , and hugged him .
Micheal carried her daughter about, he put an arm on Jessica’s shoulder. “Baby let’s go home so you can tell me about the bizarre call you had made .” Michael Said,Jessica nodded, they gathered their belongings and checked out of the hotel.
The level of destruction Michael saw at home , shocked him to the bone marrow .”You mean all this was done by the ghost or whatever it was ?” Michael asked Jessica nodded . Family frames were broken and lying about the sitting room ,the whole windows were broken.
“I’ve to call Pastor Gabriel , Baby this is more serious than I thought .” The eight feet television was lying faced down , it looked as if somebody had stomped on it .
He called the pastor who promised to come that evening .”Where’s Francis and Johnson why did they not help clean the mess .” Michael asked . “Baby Johnson quit , it’s a long story , he just couldn’t continue here , I don’t want to believe he smokes marijuana , and it has affected his brain .” Jessica said .
“Marijuana doesn’t make people quit .” Michael said, soon they could hear a car honking at the gate . “That must be pastor Gabriel ,let me go and fetch him .” Michael said , he went to the gate and welcomed
the pastor.
Lilley was sitting with Eddie on a couch watching a cartoon movie on her pad , she didn’t take note of the pastor , until her spoke .
“Brother I can feel the negative energy of Satan rotating in this house .”The pastor said . “We need to carry out a five days prayers and fasting , Jessica you won’t join us. the Lord is going to put the enemy to shame .” The pastor said , he led the whole house to prayer. they prayed from eight P.M to one A.M , before the pastor left for his house.
Barely a month after the demonic attack, chef Francis was at his house at Nyanya preparing soup for dinner, he felt a a shadow walk pass his back , he sharply turned but couldn’t see what had passed, he continued making his Okra soup , the entity passed again , this time he dropped his spoon and began to timidly scan the room ,looking for whatever it was.
The was a loud explosion outside his house, the wires had caught fire , but the light twinkled , he saw Eddie standing afar off with a knife on his hand .
“What are you doing here?” Francis asked the demon . “I am here to take your life .” Eddie said to Francis, the hairs on the back of his neck began to rise ,the flickering light came up again , it showed a girl wearing an out of date gown, stained with blood she had a smirk on her face .
“What are you ?” Francis picked a knife and pointed it at the girl , who laughed the knife flew from his hands and landed in hers .
“Francis have you ever seen a butcher kill Animal? I’ll take your life this night.” the white ghost said , a screeching sound left her throat as she laughed .
She jumped from were she was standing , she landed on Francis ,she knocked the chef to the ground , her mouth was spread wide open like those of crocodiles, teeth filled the big mouth , parts of her face had fallen to the ground showing the brown decayed teeth under skin, she bite Francis , his terrifying screams made neighbors begin to knock on his door , the door had twisted and locked itself .
Francis held his bleeding neck and struggled you to get to the door , his eyes were blurry , the doors kept banging close not letting him leave the house .
The twiggy hands of an old white lady grabbed Francis leg and dragged him away from the door, it carried the couch up and slammed it against Francis back , he let out an agonizing cry , he began to bleed from his nose and mouth, he tried to escape from her but his weak legs couldn’t take him fast enough.
The white ghost grabbed Francis by the feet and flung him against his television , when he crumbled on the ground , the beast dragged him back into his kitchen , it pointed at a knife in the dark , it flew from the shelf into his hand, she began to stab him over and over, he continued until Francis stopped making any sound , she stood over him and disappeared, the house was once again quiet , neighbors struggled to open the door , from his loud cry , and his failure to respond to calls made them feel he was already dead .
Jsssica didn’t take the news well the next morning when it came , she refused to see Francis corpse .
“Baby there’s no way you can tell me it’s not connected with us , just one month after Johnson was attacked in our house Francis is dead.” Jessica said . ”Well baby anything can be responsible, why do you think it’s about us ?” Michael said .
“Baby I believe the teddy is possessed.” Jessica said , her husband let out a small laugh . “You cannot tell me, our daughters ordinary teddy is the one that went to Francis house to kill him ?” Michael asked.
“Baby just leave this argument, I am not sure about the Teddy , what if it was the one that killed Martha?” Jessica asked her husband. ”Oh for the love of God , please don’t be ridiculous, babe can you play back what you Said and hear yourself ?” Michael told his wife .
“See babe I don’t want you to put fear in the heart of our daughter, she’s experienced so much trauma the last time, the teddy is her emotional support toy ,please don’t touch it .” Michael said . “Do you know how much that teddy cost ?” He asked his wife .
“We are talking about people’s lives , all you are talking about is money , just find solution to this issue am tired.” Jessica said , and left her husband in the sitting room .
Michael could never believe his wife could stoop so low , to believe in such kind of superstition, Francis was taken to his home town , and buried , the Abbeys paid for all expenses.
They had brought many prayer bands to the house to pray and cast out the demons , but the evil dreams were not stopping,Jessica was being haunted, she was taking an afternoon nap, when she began to see dreams ,it was another terrifying dream .
She had just delivered her baby boy, well they were heading to the car from the labor room,a big brown teddy bear , seized the child from her mother’s hand “Eddie give me me child!” Jessica screamed chasing after the teddy.
When Eddie had gone far away from Jessica and her mother, it lifted the baby
and hit the baby’s head on the hard concrete floor ,blood spilled around the floor, the chuckling teddy bear ran away ,far from the wailing Jessica and her mother.
“Jesus Christ!” Jessica screamed as she jumped from the bed , sweating profusely, she picked her Bible and went down on her knees and began to pray , she kept asking God to protect her and her unborn child.
The attacks Happened until it was time for her to put to bed , the baby refused to come out,the doctors had to cut her open to get the baby,because she was on the verge of dying.
Lilley was the happiest person alive, she held her brother in her arms ,a tears of joy fell from her eyes , she couldn’t believe she too had a sibling.
