My eyes are almost bulging out as I stared at her and I was almost losing conscious. I start using my hands to hit her weakly but she refuses to bulge as my breathing was becoming haggard.

“You know if you kill me, you will also die” I said weakly and she laughed like a maniac before flinging me backward. I hitted my back on the cage of the cell as I wiggle my tail trying to find my breath. Soon I was able to breath and I turned my head toward her angrily.

“What was that, Hun” I shouted at her angrily as I swam forward with hot steams blowing out of my nose and the sea rumbled but I cared less.

” You want to kill me, Hun. You want to get rid of me” I said again not giving her a chance to reply. The guards stared at me as I shouted at her but a glare from me stopped them from moving toward me.

My throat was sore and it pains me as I swallowed my saliva anger filled my eyes as I stared at her, the guards stared at me in awe.

” How dare you shout at the princess, you have made a big mistake by doing that” one of the guard said and I was shocked but I refuses to show it. She must be happy now because I now knew she was the princess but that doesn’t change my view of her.
The guard crashed on the walls of the basement with his tail bleeding and he groaned as he swam back to the remaining guards. They were all surprised that she protected me from the guard even after strangling me.

My eyes snapped toward the cage Arielle is only to find her still sleeping peacefully not knowing what is happening around. I pray she should wake up, then I remembered I have never prayed in my entire life. Today is the first day I will be praying but putting that aside I focused my attention on what’s happening now.

My eyes went wide immediately I saw a guard headed towards me with his trident point forward and I made no advances to dodge but before the guard could reach me he was yanked back by the three headed monster.
That’s what I will be calling her even if I knew her name but there was something that always attracts me which I think is the scared bond between us. During my time of reading Merman story have never heard of it.

” Why don’t you let him get close to me, is it not what you want. You wanted me dead right. You are so pathetic” I shouted at her and she growls angrily showing the fangs on her fin as she turns back to the three headed monster. I shifted back in fear as I saw her walked toward me and she smirked when she saw me moving back.

My whole body was filled with fear as I stared at her.

I sighed heavily as I carried my mate away and it pained me that I will have to take him to the basement where he will be put in the cell. There is something different about him that I couldn’t understand, there was this familiarity between us but I couldn’t pin point it out. He’s tail is blue and I couldn’t help but wonder why he has it because I haven’t set my eyes on a blue tailed merman. The reason I fought with him is because one of the warriors has spotted a merman in the border and him being here mean they are connected in a way

‘I need to visit the old library in the kingdom for more enquires’ I thought as I swam into the basement and the guards there bowed their heads immediately they sighted me, who wouldn’t bow his head unless the person want to meet an untimely death.

“Lock him up in one of the cage but don’t hurt him” I said with a growl and they nodded with their heads bowed.

” Where is the mermaid you caught at the border today” I asked staring at them intensely and they shivers slightly making a smirk to form on my face. I like the way my personalities make they shudder.

” There she is” a guard muttered with his voice wavering as he pointed at a cage.

I walked up to the cage and I stared at the mermaid who was sleeping peacefully not aware of the place she is making me chuckle loudly. I turned to go but immediately I got close to the door of the basement my nose jerked up when I smelt the scent of my mate coupled with another.

I felt a pang of jealousy in my heart as I creased my brows in confusion as I turned back and the guard shifted back in fear thinking I was coming for them but i traces the smell and noticed it was coming from the merman who was sighted at the border of this kingdom. I knew they must be connected in someway and I was true. I swam away from the basement toward the palace to tell my parents the Queen and the King of this Kingdom.

‘ A quick introduction about me, I’m Maria. Yeah that’s my name in the SIREN kingdom you only have your name and no surname like the humans have. You don’t have to be surprised that I knew about the humans. I have always been a person who loves human and I don’t know the reason. I will always go to the sea shore every day to watch the humans do things.

My father is the King of the SIREN while my mother is the Queen, they have been great leaders ready to help any body who was in need of help but they couldn’t help the Pacific kingdom. We couldn’t help them because we have no power to battle with them, since they have been captured by Skruel. What a weird name though, Skruel is the name of the Pacific king’s twin brother.

He had wanted the kingdom for himself but their father gave it to Smith because he was chosen by the Oracle although the throne belongs to Skruel from birth. He had thought he would be the King but it pained him and he told his parents to make him the but they told him that can’t happen unless the person choosen by the Oracle died or was killed and his parents can’t kill Smith so they told him they couldn’t.
He was enraged and with that he fought with his parent but he was no match for them, he swore to take revenge and be the King someday.

His parent thought it was an empty threat but after they passed away he came back with his own army 18 years ago trying to take over the town but they conquered him but he escaped before they could kill him.

After some years he managed to get back on his feet and he summoned the dark witches and with the help of the dark witches he conquered the Kingdom. He killed the king of the Pacific and he places his head on his throne. The head never wither up till now but no one knew about what makes it fresh. You don’t have to ask me how I knew about it because I always read book which was in the kingdom library.

I once gave it to my father to read but he couldn’t see a thing and when he does it was not what I read. The spy we sent to the kingdom confirmed it and my father told me to keep the book in my possession since I’m the only one who could read the book. There was something I noticed in the book is that I couldn’t open page 17 but other pages can be opened. That’s enough for now as time goes on you will know more about me. ‘

I sighed heavily as I entered the library and I kept looking for a book which will talk about a blue tailed merman but there was none. I sat on the chair which I summoned and the sight of a glowing book caught my eyes. I gasped in shock immediately I saw the color of the book which was blue. I stood up from the chair as I moved toward the shelf and I took the book, the book cover was alluring and I couldn’t take my eyes of it.

I ran my hands through the book cover as I felt the book calling onto me, the book cover soon changed to a blue tailed merman. I smile excitedly as stared at it happily because I knew I will soon get to the root of it all. As I tried opening the book I felt a pain in my stomach and I looked at it only to see it bleeding.
