” I have never seen a merman with a blue tail but your case is different ” he said as he pushed the sword a little and I screamed in pain but it healed up, she winced a little with her trident still on my neck and I don’t know where my courage came from as I used my hand to push her trident and she looked at me with wide eyes. She e could not believe that I could save myself from her. She stared at me from head to toe and I rolled my eyes at her.

“Why don’t you just leave me alone Hun” I shouted with venom in my voice and she shifted back.

“Who are you trespasser, you must be a spy from king kain” the siren said and I rolled my eyes at her skeptically.

“I hate people who jump to conclusions about someone they don’t know” I said and she stared at me angrily.

” Just because I don’t kill doesn’t mean I spare you” she said and I laughed heartily even after knowing my life is in her hands. I just have a feeling that she can’t kill me, the feeling was so strong that she can’t hurt me.

“I still don’t know why I feel attracted to you” the siren said and I smirked.

“That’s because you are starting to like me” I stated before I could stop myself and she let out an angry growl before charging at me.
I slid on the water and I used the tip of my tail to hit one of her head and she shrieked in pain. I felt a golden liquid coming out of my head and I touched it only to find out I’m bleeding. I don’t know how I knew it was blood so don’t question me. She looked at me and smirked when she saw blood coming out of my head.
Hee head healed almost immediately.

” I told you that I felt attracted to but you won’t answer” she said and I rolled my eyes still touching the exact spot where the liquid was coming from but it has heal up already making me sighed.

“I can’t be attracted to a tree headed monster” I shouted and she laughed heartily.

“You hate me being a tree headed monster but you would like me if I’m not in this form “she questioned and I nodded before I could stop myself.
She soon transformed into a cute mermaid that I couldn’t help but drool, she was more cute than Arielle.

“What is happening” I asked her with my voice wavering, this is too much to much to take in. Just now I saw a tree headed siren but it soon transformed into a beautiful mermaid and I hurt her only to feel the pain and the reaction on my body. I just hope Arielle arrives quickly.

“This only happens when two people are mate” she said and I was confused because all the mermaid stories I always read doesn’t talk about mate.

“What is a mate” I asked and she rolled her eyes.

“Are you even a merman at all, don’t you heard the former king and queen of the Pacific kingdom are mates “she asked and I shaked my head sideways.

” Mate are destined to be together” she said and my heart starts beating rapidly.

” We can’t be mate” I stated and she smirked heavily.

“You will see to this” she said and stab herself and I groaned in pain as I held my stomach. I black out due to the shock.

My eyes snapped open and I closes it back due to the brightness. I soon adjust to the brightness. Looking around and my eyes widen in shock immediately I saw I was in something like a cage in an underground pavement. My thoughts went to the mermaid girl, because she changed into a beautiful Mermaid I saw earlier before I blacked out that claimed to be my mate, if I was his mate then why will she bring me to this place.

My eyes gazed out of the cage and I saw many more cage which got me confused, how will I be able to get out of here alive. I thought when I saw some gaurds who were lined up guarding the cage I was in with another set guarding the cage beside me. I hope Arielle arrives here earlier before I was going to be killed by them.

My eyes widen in shock as I stared at the next cave, there was Arielle sleeping peacefully like a log of wood. My whole world seems to crumble as I stared at her, she was my last resort in getting out of here but she was also captured. Tears was streaming down my eyes as I watched her, my whole body was filled with fear as I stared.

If I had known I would have not agreed to embark on this quest with hee, with a shaky voice I called up to her but she refuses to open her eyes which prompt me to raise my hands to tap her.

I winced in pain as I withdraw my bleeding hands. My whole body was filled with grieves and anger as I looked at the guard who uses his sword to cut my hands. Glaring at him angrily he soon fell down dead with foams coming out of mouth making me smirk. I don’t know where the courage came from but I didn’t bother about it. The other guards stared at me with shock after they witnessed the death of the guard and they brought out the tridents ready to strike me, they all charged forward and they stabbed me in my stomach before I could dodge it.

I breathes heavily as I stared at them and a smirk soon form on my face as I realize the three headed monster will be feeling the pain and would soon be here. I shoved my hands out of the cage still groaning in pain as the place they stabbed me still hurt. The wound refuses to heal and I sighed heavily. I don’t know how long I can stay here and I held a guard in his neck. He struggles to breathe as he wriggle trying to break free from me but I held him tighter. A guard almost stabbed me to death on my neck but I luckily escaped but the trident scratch my neck and it was bleeding heavily.

The door to the pavement burst open and a girl arrives, she looks so beautiful and I couldn’t help but drool over her. I scanned her from head to toe since I wasn’t expecting her but the three headed monster. She was beautiful and I couldn’t help but try to know who is more beautiful between the girl and Arielle.

My eyes widen in shock when I saw her bleeding from her stomach and neck.

Don’t tell me she is the three headed monster that is the only explanation I have for that because she was bleeding from the same spot I was stabbed. I stared at her trying not to believe it was her. But why did she changed into more beautiful again.
She swam speedily to the guard who had his trident buried in my stomach and she yanked the trident away from him thereby twisting the trident and I winced in pain.

I totally forgot my plight then I smirked at her when I saw her on the floor with blood dripping down her stomach. She stood up from the ground and swam toward the guard who stabbed me.

She held his throat glaring at him angrily and the guard gasped for breath making me smirk.

“Didn’t I tell you guys not to hurt him. How dare you disobey the order of the princess” she said angrily as she choked him. Wow she is the princess that will make my plans easier because the Pacific are suffering.

         FLASHBACK

When I was unconscious I met myself in a strange place. I swam forward and I saw some people tied to a pole. They were all beaten by some strange mermans. I looked closer and I saw a boy also tied on the pole, he looked toward my direction. The boy looked familiar and I tried hard to remember him but I couldn’t.

“Please save us” he said and I frowned in confusion.

I looked away from him and toward the merman who had been beaten, blood was dripping down his body but the merman who had beaten him didn’t stop but instead he continued and kept smiling. I tried swimming towards them but I couldn’t.

FLASHBACK Ended

” Why did you stop them?” I asked him, groaning in pain as my blood dropped into the water. My blood soon filled the cage and I stared at Arielle hoping she would wake up soon.

“You know it will be affecting me whenever you are hurt” the girl said and I laughed.

” If you know it will affect me then why did you bring me into this damn cage?” I shouted at her angrily.

” I brought you here until your case is decided by the king, ” she said and I rolled my eyes.

” What did they do to my friend over there? ” I asked and she stared at Arielle.

” I don’t know,” she said with a pause.

” Why am I even telling you? ” She asked as she stared at me.

” You know I could just hurt myself to get back at you” I said when I looked at my stomach and saw it was healing. Her expression changed to a frightened one.

“You don’t have to do that” she said fearfully. I looked at her with a smirk playing on my lips. She was surprised that I was able to figure out that there is an unknown and sacred bond which is connecting us.

I shifted back in fear as she walked towards me with his fish claws and fangs which creeped out longly. She gnashed her teeth and dashed at me with the speed and she suddenly became invisible, the only thing visible was the trail she left while swimming speedily.

She suddenly appeared and held my neck through the bars of the cage and I gasped for breath, she also gasped for breath but she never seemed to stop.
