So, This is Love? Episode 20 – Judith Onyoyibo
My wedding night still remains one of my best nights as a married woman. The memories of that night still lingers in my memory till date. I slept like it was me and my husband against the whole world 😁. Don’t blame me, I’m just a woman who is thoroughly loved by her husband.
I opened my eyes and saw Stephen staring at me with so much amusement in his eyes.
“What are you staring at?”. I whimpered and covered my face with the duvet.
Stephen started laughing. “Why won’t you let me admire the bone of my bones”. He tried removing the duvet from my face but I didn’t let him. We started jumping on each other.
“I want to see how my bone looks like na”. He whined.
“Go jor”. I said amidst laughter.
He overpowered and sat on me with his two legs holding me hostage. He carefully removed the duvet from my face.
I laid helplessly on the bed. “What now? I pouted.
“You are so beautiful Ese”. He said softly.
For some weird reasons, my body moved. I have heard people call me “beautiful” but the way he said it made all the difference.
He moved his mouth to mine and locked our lips together. I moaned softly.
He ran his hands all over my body whilst we kissed. His hands were rough yet soothing.
He moved his hand to my breast and fondled it gently. “Ouch”. I moaned softly.
“Should I stop?”. He gasped.
“Please don’t stop”. I whispered.
I made him lay on his back while I went on top of him. I showcased the “Janet” in me and the rest was history. It ended in praise 😅.
We both fell asleep.
I woke at about 10:14am. My husband was still fast asleep. He slept like he had no worries.
I went into the bathroom and freshened up.
I ordered food for my husband and I.
My husband woke up when the food was brought to our room.
“My big baby is finally awake”. I teased.
He moved to where I sat on the bed and wrapped his hands around me. “Thank you for making me so happy”. He yawned.
I couldn’t help but laugh. “Are you sure you are even ready for me in this marriage”. I teased.
“I’m not sure o”. He responded laughing.
“Go and freshen up let’s eat”. I said.
He lazily went into the bathroom and got freshened up.
We ate gisting and laughing. “Bad table manners”, I know 😁.
We stayed in the apartment for a while before we left.
We went to greet my parents before leaving for Lagos.
My husband drove me to a very beautiful apartment at lekki phase 1.
“You didn’t tell me we were visiting someone”. I nagged.
“This is our new home”. He said smiling.
“What! You don’t mean it!”. I screamed.
I took a tour of our new apartment and was totally blown away.
“You sure know how to keep secrets”. I said.
“I wanted to surprise you”.
“Surprise? I am totally blown away”. I said and jumped on his body although we almost fell to the ground.
Everything in the house was on point. Is it the very large kitchen or the bedroom that’s ensuite?. The house is the definition of luxury itself.
“Thank you daddy”. I jubilated.
We called our pastor who came to bless the house.
That night, I said “thank you” to my husband in another language.
My husband had to return to work two weeks later. There’s no morning he left for work without wanting to carry me along 😅.
One afternoon, Lisa called to tell me Sandra wasn’t fine. She just had an appendix operation. She asked us to go pay Sandra a visit.
Without thinking twice, I obliged. Lisa and I conveyed from ShopRite to Sandra’s apartment.
She lives at Greenfield estate, same estate as Mike.
Sandra was so glad to see us. We did a lot of catch ups about the good old days at the university.
On our way home, Lisa and I coincidentally drove past Mike.
He was a complete shadow of himself. He was completely lost in thought while roaming around the estate.
“Is that not Mike?”. I asked with my mouth agape.
“Ohhh! That one?”. She hissed. “His wife divorced him and the court gave her right over half of Mike’s properties. Everyone knows his story in this estate”. Lisa said.
“Jesus Christ!”. I exclaimed.
“He haven’t seen anything. His wife caught him cheating with a girl of 18yrs old on their matrimonial bed. The parents of the girl wanted to sue him but the naive girl insisted the sèx was consensual so the case was dropped”. Lisa dropped another bombshell.
“Oh my goodness! Look at what I almost got married to?”. I screamed.
“My sister better go and do thanksgiving in church on Sunday. That man is a lost cause”.
I broke down in tears.
“I can’t believe I almost killed myself because of a thrash like him 😭😭”.
