Real Suspect Episode 27
”Good Morning Chief” Richard greeted Mr. Ayodele as he and Delight were both in black suit like Secret agents.
”Good Morning officers, please do sit down” Ayodele said
”Thank You Sir” They appreciated and sat down
”What can I offer you officers?” He asked and called his maid immediately
”No.. No Sir, don’t bother yourself Sir, we are alright” Richard quickly and politely rejected the offer
”Are you thinking I will do something bad?” Mr. Ayodele asked looking at them
”Not at all Sir” Delight said and Mr. Ayodele sent the maid away telling her to just get him a glass of Red wine for him.
”Now Officers, how may I help you?” Mr. Ayodele asked them adjusting his sit
”Sir, we learnt that Mr. Kole was your best friend, more like a brother to you Sir” Richard began
”Yes of course, I really missed his company” Mr. Ayodele said sniffing in unseen tears
”We understand how you feel Sir, but Sir, where last did you see him?” Richard asked
”I never saw him few days before he died. I went to his house severally but his wife said he travelled. He didn’t even inform me” Mr. Ayodele said
”Hmm.. But Sir, didn’t you call him on phone?” Delight asked
”Of course I did and he said he was going to travel to Italy” Mr. Ayodele said
”Italy?? But you used his local number to call him Sir” Richard asked
”Of course, he hasn’t travelled then” Mr. Ayodele said
”But you called him after his wife told you he travelled” Delight querried
”No. No.. I didn’t call him after she told me, I called him before she told me” Mr. Ayodele said
”Hmm.. So what did you go to Mr. Kole’s house to do when you know he was travelling?” Richard asked
”I just went to know if he has travelled because he never told me when he was travelling” Mr. Ayodele replied
”Hmm.. Alright Sir” Richard exhaled heavily
”Being too close to him, do you know if he had any problem with anybody?” Delight asked him
”Not at all.. Mr. Kole my friend is a social man, loved by everyone” Mr. Ayodele said confidently
”But everyone has an enemy no matter how good he is” Delight said
”That’s true but I don’t know of any my dear” Mr. Ayodele said and the officers looked at each other
”Alright Sir. Thank you for your time Sir.” Richard said as they stood up
”Alright Officers” Mr. Ayodele said and they left.
”I am really sad about my friend’s death” Mr. Ayodele said to himself
”Who must have done this?” He asked himself again and hissed piteously as he sat down and continued drinking his wine…

”Delight, how far are you seeing the success of this investigation?” Richard asked delight as they entered their car in front of Mr. Ayodele’s mansion
”Seriously Inspector, I can’t really tell. I am confused myself. Even the Anita we have is looking like she is innocent. We have used avery means but none availed” Delight replied and Richard rested his head on the car seat.
”I am tired my dear” Richard said
”This is getting too much” Richard added
”Don’t get tired Inspector, what about your prestige of being the best. What about the honour? What about peace. You have always fought for peace and justice. My promise to you is that I will stand by you in all of it” Delight encouraged Richard and Richard starred at her picking up courage. Just then, Richard’s phone rang and he looked at it and then at Delight
”It’s the Commissioner Of Police” Richard said and put on his seat belt. Delight was speechless as Richard ignited the engine of the car and drove off..

”Mr. Dangida, you are a man of great integrity” Richard said to Mr. Dangida as they sat in his sitting room. Mr. Dangida adjusted his white agbada and sat down.
”Yes of course, that’s why I am called Mr. General” He boasted about his nickname
”Yes Sir, and at that we want you to tell us all you know Sir” Delight added to his boasting
”I actually don’t know why you came to my house this early” Mr. G said looking at them
”You are suspecting me for the death of Betty or what??” Mr. G asked them
”Not at all Sir, but we just came to ask you some few questions” Richard said
”Alright, go on Officer” Mr. G said
”Where you at home on the day of the incident?” Richard asked
”Yes, I was preparing for an important meeting but it happened and I had to stop every meeting and stayed back as you warned. I missed it” Mr. G said
”We are sorry for that Sir” Delight said
”No problem, Mr. G is a good man” Mr. G said
”But Sir, did you see or hear anything that morning Sir” Richard asked
”Eeeh, actually, I think I did” Mr. G said while Richard and Delight adjusted their sitting posture, sitting erect, eager to hear what Mr. G has to say..
”I was preparing for the meeting, looked through my window and I saw Natasha rushed out.. I wanted to see her so I ran out to meet het but couldn’t catch up with her as she is always in a haste…” Mr. G began..
