          EPISODE 21

THE NEXT DAY

Mina woke up and sigh , she woke her grandma up and they both has their morning prayer in the room

Mina entered the bathroom and shower while grandma did not bother , let me check on Henry maybe he has woken up mina said and left their room only to meet Henry at there door step

Wow so you are awake Mina said smiling while Henry just nodded
We will be leaving now so did you brought your car Mina asked

No I brought my bike and I don’t think it can convey the both of you home so you will have to board a bike Henry replied

Ok let me inform grandma so that we can get going Mina said and call on the grandma soon grandma comes out and she exchange pleasantries with Henry and they all left the hotel together

Henry followed them  to their house using his bike while Mina and grandma board a cab back to their house , Mina and grandma got home and were actually scared of entering the house but Henry was not even bothered nor scared 

He entered into the house confidently and courageously , he checked everywhere so that there mind would be at peace that there is no one in the house though the house look a little scattered but he wanted not to be scared of staying in the house

Mina followed Henry as he checked everywhere and breath out in relief knowing there is no one in the house cause she thought that might hide in the house waiting for her arrival but it seems she is wrong

Grandma entered the house and pray for Henry for sacrificing his time and energy while Henry smile before leaving for his own house
Mina sigh before entering the kitchen to prepare the food they are going to eat this morning and thank God she is not going to work today

While mina is preparing the food , grandma go to the bathroom to take her brush her teeth and take her bath

  Some minutes later the food is done and Mina served it on the dinning table , she informed grandma and they both prayed before starting devouring their food , they barely finish their food when two guys appear from nowhere with guns in their hands and point it at them 

Mina is still busy with her food when grandma she noticed the fear look on grandma face , she traced it and met the shock she never expected , two guys were pointing guns at them

Please sir what is our offense grandma asked while one of the guys laugh hysterically

 You have no offense but H has but someone must pay the price and for our mission to be fully completed one of you needs to die the guy replied while mina and her grandma gasp in fear 

Please if I may ask who is H Mina asked while the guys look at each other briefly and return their look back at mina , H is ….

Then a gunshot was heard and one of the guy dropped dead , the other was scared , as he try to pull the trigger and shoot Mina ,a bullet just pass through his head and he also dropped dead , Mina screamed loudly as she and her grandma hug each other tightly , they were too shocked to move

 After about some minutes Mina decided to move around to check for the person that shoot but she could not find anyone , she immediately call Kiara and she picked up Immediately 

She quickly narrated what happened this morning to Kiara , and Kiara said she is on her way

Kiara woke up to see missed calls from Mina , she wondered what could have happened that will make Mina to call her severally
She decided to call her later cause she is getting discharged today after she has complained to the doctor

Just then her phone rings and it was Mina again and she picked only to hear Mina panicked voice as she narrated what Happened at her house this morning , Kiara widened her eyes and tell her she is in her way , she stands up from the hospital though she is has not recovered fully but she can just stay here while her bestie is in need of her help

As she was about leaving her ward George entered and frown , where are you going honey George asked
Mina is in trouble , she said two assassin were sent to them this morning but they were killed by an unknown in their presence , I need to go visit her and Moreover she still has a lot to tell me

But you could have called me instead of stressing yourself , and you know you are just recovering George protested while Kiara just ignore him
Call the cops and inform the team to meet me at mina house Kiara said more like a command

  Kiara you can't go , I will handle everything ok just don't worry George protested while Kiara started Changing her dress quickly 

Kiara you need to rest George said again , Agent George call the cops and the team to meet at mina house , I also want the investigation team send there Kiara said with a command tone with a big glare

Kiara !! George called , that an order Kiara said raising her voice George gulped down hard and sigh
Yes ma he said and left the ward to do everything he was ordered to do

Kiara saw the hurt in George eyes but she ignored it , she would be dealing with that later

Kiara left the ward and come out to see George making call , and normally George brought his car , Kiara entered into the car while George join him in the driver seat and drove off
During the ride , there were no discussion and has Kiara try to pull up any discussion , George would reply formally or remain mute

Kiara is already getting fustrated with this attitude George put on and she knows George normally does that when he is angry at her
She try to beg him but he was given formal reply

George I told you am sorry for speaking like that in the hospital I was just worried about my best friend Kiara said
Ma’am we are almost there , George ignored her plea and give a formal reply

George when will you stop all these Kiara asked
You are my superior at work and I have to obey your command ma’am George reply again and Kiara sigh for the nth time and the remaining time spent during the ride was a dead silence one

Soon they got to Mina house And met her outside with her grandma waiting for them obviously

Kiara come out while mina rush to her , Kiara am fucking scared she said while Kiara hug her and pat her back , George also greeted grandma and Mina casually and entered to see the dead assassins

He got there and see the both of them lying down lifelessly not far away from their gun , he put on his investigation gloves and carry the two guns , he bend down and check closely where they are been shot and see it a clear head shot and from his IQ he can say that the person that shoot them is a professional and from the looks of things they were both given a clear head shot but from different position , it seems the person that shoot them displaces position when shooting them George thought , he stands up as he started hearing the siren of the cops

He comes out still holding the guns And handed it over to one of the investigation agent who works with people in the lab , ma’am from my own view of things , the shooter is a professional and their blood samples should be taken and send to the lab so as to confirm their identity and moreover those guns should be send to the forensics to run some tests on the bullet that is in it George added keeping a straight face

Kiara sigh as Mina just narrated her ordeal from the dream to her , just then George come and also explain his own view about what he saw not without him keeping a straight face
Ok instruct the junior agent to take the samples needed and the dead bodies should be handed over to the cops , this house particularly should be locked Kiara said while George nodded , yes ma’am George saluted and leave to give the order to the junior agents

Mina can not but notice the odd behaviour of George , what happened to George he is behaving differently today Mina asked
Nothing as much just a little misunderstanding Kiara replied while mina mouthed an ohh

Can you tell me the reason Mina asked curiously but Kiara is not ready to open up , as they were still agruing about this matter

A sniper user is positioned at afar away place from Mina house but he has a clear target of everyone , he set his sniper on Kiara and smile
George suddenly look up and saw the sniper directed to Kiara side , he run and save Kiara from getting shot but unfortunately he got shot instead and dropped to the ground immediately as blood splashed out from his mouth and the particular place he was been shot , he felt weak immediately and it seems life is leaving him

Kiara rushed to him as tears found it way in her eyes , George stay with me , you are gonna be fine

Kiara I love you George said and close his eyes to the darkness
Nooooo Kiara screamed as she burst into a fresh uncontrollable tears , Mina can’t but cry also

The sniper ball his fist in anger cause his Target is Kiara not his boyfriend , he pack up his gun and turned to leave only to find Ryan holding two pistols in his both hands that has been fixed with silencer already , he was dressed in black from head to toe but his face can be seen filled with rage and anger
Who sent you Ryan asked ?
The sniper user try to shoot Ryan but he outsmart him by giving him a shot at his knuckle , who sent you he asked again ? I can’t tell you that the sniper user replied

Ryan shoot his second knuckle and he screamed in pain , who sent you he asked ?!

It is an agent from Kiara work place also her name is agent …
He dropped dead obviously he couldn’t complete his statement before death take over
Ryan groan in annoyance and leave the place not without confirming a shot in the sniper user head !!
