Shinning Crystal Episode 9

“So, since you’re new, should I show you around?”Lucia asked her. Charlie smiled nodding her head in agreement”yes. I’ll really love that”she replied.
They both left the scene together before Justin and Daniel could reach them.
Lucia showed her different places in the school building. They both were walking side by side. As Lucia showed her most of the places, she checked her time and exclaimed”ooh”she said after checking her wrist watch. “Why? What’s that?”Charlie asked looking at her. “Am almost late for the English class”she said looking at her. “Oh let’s get going then”Charlie said and they left for English class.

After class, students started moving out. Lucia stood up carrying her bag with one hand. “Let’s go and get something to eat at the cafeteria”Lucia said looking at Charlie who was still busy writing something on her note. She dropped her pen and closed the note. She dropped the book in her bag and hung it on one shoulder”OK, let’s go”she said smiling. They both left the class and were walking down the compound towards the cafeteria. “So, do you live in that estate?”Charlie asked Lucia. “Nope. I just went there for holiday. My Aunty lives there”Lucia replied. “OK. But I was really surprised to see you faced that man. And you’re so good at fighting”Charlie said smiling. “Was I?”lucia asked smiling. “Yes. You’re like my super hero that night”Charlie said raising her thumb up to her and They both giggled.

Hanna and her friends were also heading to the cafeteria. “I hope you guys enjoyed the party yesterday?”Mina asked as they walked down together. “Yes, it was really fun to me.”Clara said smiling. “Me too. I like it but the celebrant’s boyfriend is ugly. Oh my God, I can’t even look at his face. So disgusting.”Hanna said making an irritating face. “Everyone is just ugly to you. How can you call that cute guy ugly” Clara said looking at Hanna. “That’s just her problem. Just let her say all she want, I think she’s jealous of her”Mina said to Clara and they both laughed. “I don’t like that. Why will I be jealous of her. I told you guys am not interested in any type of guys”she said rolling her eyes. “We’ll see how far you can go with that”clara said.
When they got to the cafeteria, they bought food at the counter and went to have their seat somewhere.

At the other side, Charlie and Lucia were also sitting down eating and chatting.
And at one side outside the cafeteria, Justin, Daniel, Drake and Jasper. Were sitting down at a table eating and chatting also. “So, did you get to see her last week?”Daniel asked Justin as he chew food in his mouth. “Yes I was able to see her. She came back just because she also missed me. I was so happy to see her face again in a long time”Justin said smiling. “You mean your mum?”Jasper asked looking at him. “Yes my mum. I told you she’s not in the country.”Justin replied. “Good thing you saw her”Jasper said. Yes good. So, What of what I asked of you yesterday? Did you delete it already or not?”justin asked him looking impatient. Jasper looked at him and smiled. He knew what he was asking of but he try to play dumb and pretend he doesn’t. “What’s that? I have no idea of what you’re talking about”jasper said trying to laugh but he held it back strongly because the look on justin face after hearing that was so funny. “You mean you don’t know what am talking about?”Justin asked looking at him in a funny expression.

Drake looked at Justin and laughed”what’s wrong with your face dude. Jasper why is he like this?”Drake asked looking confused by his expression. Justin looked at Jasper’s phone on the table and want to pick it but Jasper quickly took it from the table smiling. “Please just delete the photo already”Justin pleaded. “What’s that? Let me see the photo. What’s it about?”daniel asked looking at Jasper. “What are you guys hiding?”Drake asked looking at them. “OK fine I won’t ask about it again. Just keep it to yourself I don’t care anymore”Justin said and stood up. “Let’s get going guys”Daniel said also standing up. So, they stood up and prepare to leave the cafeteria. Jasper slipped his phone at his back pocket as he stood up. Justin saw this and smiled to himself with the intention of removing it when they move.

Charlie and Lucia finished eating and stood up to leave the cafeteria, so did Hanna and her friends. When Charlie and Lucia got outside, Justin and his friends had started moving. Justin walked behind Jasper waiting for the right time to remove the phone. He moved his hand slowly towards his pocket.
Charlie and Lucia were walking behind them, so she noticed this and looked at Lucia who was not aware of it. “Why?”Lucia asked as Charlie looked at her. “It’s nothing”she said when she saw that Justin had withdrew his hand. Justin moved his hand again. He picked the phone without Jasper knowing. Charlie saw this and can’t take it anymore”you won’t get away with that”she said and moved faster to them. Lucia saw this and also went after her. “Why are y…..”before Lucia could finish talking, Charlie has got to Justin. She held his hand and twisted it backward in a way that made him cried out attracting his friends attention. “What do you think you’re doing?”Charlie asked still holding his hand at his back. When she saw it was Justin she smiled to herself looking at him”it’s you again. You’re dead today, I caught you red handed this time”she said looking at him badly. Jasper and Drake saw this and were surprised except Daniel who was surprised to see Charlie in school. Even Hanna and her friends saw it and gasped. “W…wh…what is that girl doing right now?”Hanna said looking at her in surprise. Lucia also was staring at her covering her mouth with both hand.

“What’s this about?”Jasper asked as he saw this. Charlie removed the phone from his hand without releasing him”here. He stole it from your pocket. I knew he’s a pick pocketer”she said raising up the phone. “What? a thief?”Jasper and Drake said looking at Charlie surprisingly. So did Hanna and her friend.

Episode 10

“yes he’s a thief.”Charlie said stretching out the phone to Jasper who’s mouth was wide open. Then she looked back at Justin badly. “Please release me already my hand hurt”Justin said looking at her. He was also surprise to see Charlie in school but he has to clear the misunderstandin
g first. “Apologize to him or I won’t”she said. By now, Hanna can’t take it anymore so she tried to move to the scene but Mina dragged her back”don’t get involve”Mina said looking at her. “Jasper please just tell her am not a thief”Justin said looking at Jasper. Jasper smiled nodding his head in disagreement. Justin raised his eyebrow giving him sign to do so. But Jasper didn’t say anything. “OK fine. Am not a thief. As you can see they’re my friends. I took that because I want to check something”justin said looking at Charlie. “So you want me to believe that?”she said twisting his arm more tighter. Justin can’t bear the pains anymore so he pleaded his friend to open up. “Jasper please save me tell her the truth”Justin shouted in pain. Daniel moved closer to them smiling. “It’s OK. He’s telling the truth so, please spare my friend”Daniel said in a calm voice. Charlie stared at them in confusion. She released him slowly looking at Daniel”sorry for reacting too fast”she said looking at Daniel “not me, him”Daniel said telling her to apologize to Justin instead. She stared at Justin not saying anything. “Let’s go Lucia”she said dragging Lucia by the arm. They both left the scene but Lucia was still looking back at the guys as they moved.
“What a rude girl”Justin said looking at her.
“She’s so cute”Drake said smiling. “Not cute but rude”Justin said and walked ahead of them. “Let’s go guys”Daniel said and they followed Justin.

“Wow, I can’t believe that just happened”Clara said in amazement. “That girl is so bold to start with”Mina said. “She’s just so stupid to jump into conclusions. How can she call an innocent looking person like Justin a thief? If I was Justin, I would have pull her hair and hit her”Hanna said in anger. “Calm down. Everyone don’t have to be like you”Mina said looking at her. Hanna looked at them and walked out. They also went after her.

After school, Lucia’s mum came to pick her up. She introduced Charlie to her mum. And after greetings and a little talk, she waved goodbye at Charlie and left with her mum because they were not going the same way. Charlie stared the car as it move until it finally drove out of the compound.
She smiles to herself walking towards the gate”I wish we stay together a little longer.”she said smiling to herself.

“Why has gotten into your head? Why smiling to yourself?”a voice said behind her. She turned back and saw Justin. The smile on her face faded off on seeing him. She started moving faster not paying attention to him. Justin walked up to her and held her hand back lightly. Charlie felt his hand on her and that forced her to stop and face him”what do really want from me?”Charlie asked looking him in anger. Justin left her hand and smiled”I think you misunderstood me. I have to tell you this”Justin said looking at her. “What do you mean?”Charlie asked him. “I have to clear the misunderstanding between us. Am not a thief or a pick pocketer. The first time we met, I truly forgot my wallet at home. Am not what you took me for”Justin said in a calm voice. Charlie looked at him as he talked and her heart melted. She now saw how handsome Justin is. She didn’t get to see that earlier because she never looked at him that close. “Trust me. I just want to clear that misunderstanding with you and nothing more”Justin said sounding like he’s begging her to understand. “OK I got it now, Can I go?”she asked looking at him. “Sure you can”he replied feeling relieved. Charlie left and moved out of the school compound. Justin also went to his car.

When Justin got home, he kept think about Charlie and smiling to himself. “What’s wrong with me? Could this be love feelings or what”he said smiling. “Oh my God. I just feel like seeing her face again”he said smiling broadly. “But wait. I don’t even know her name”he added.

When Charlie got home, she told her mum about how her first day in school went. And also told her about lucia. “You made a friend so quick”her mum said smiling. “Yes mum. I think I have a friend at last”she said smiling.
They talked about other things and when it’s getting dark, her mum went to bed. she sat beside her on the bed leaning back to the wall.
She remembered Justin face and what he said back in school. That brought smile to her face with her realizing it. “But I think he’s right. He doesn’t look like someone that can steal from others. I think I went too far with that” she said reasoning with what Justin said. “To be sincere, he’s so cute and charming.”Charlie thought to herself smiling brightly.

Episode 11

The following day at royal hour school, Charlie got to school early. Students are not much in the compound they’re scanty because it’s still early. She sat down on a bench under a flower tree in the compound, browsing through her cell phone. “I guess I came too early. Lucia is not even here”she said looking around the compound. As she was still looking around someone stood before her. She raised up her head and saw Justin, He was putting on a blue t-shirt and a black Jean trouser which looks smart on him. His hair was combed up in a stylish way which looks hot on him. She looked away pretending she didn’t see him. Justin smiled and sat beside her. “Hy”he greeted raising his hand up. “Hy”Charlie replied not paying much attention to him. There was a perfect silent after they greeted each other. “I saw you were sitting alone from a distance so, I decided to join you since my friends are not here yet. I think I came too early than usual”Justin said smiling. Charlie looked at him and the smile on his face forced her to smile too. Justin saw this and was surprised”wow you look most beautiful when you smile”Justin said looking at her. Charlie heard this and stopped smiling.
Mean while, Hanna and her friends just arrived. She sighted Charlie and Justin together and that got her angry. “So,shes trying to seduce him now. What she did yesterday was not OK”hanna said sounding annoyed. “The way she’s smiling showed it all”clara said feeling jealous.

Justin moved closer to Charlie and cleared his throat. Charlie looked at him and adjusted to the side a bit. He looked at her and smiled again. “Since we cleared the misunderstanding between us, can we now know each other better?”Justin asked looking at her. Charlie didn’t say anything but was listening to him. “OK let me do that first. My name is Justin and you? I wish to know your name”he said looking at Charlie to tell him her own name also but instead of her to respond, she stood up after seeing Lucia from a distance”Lucia!”she called and went to her. Lucia stopped on hearing her name. She saw Charlie coming from Justin’s direction. When Charlie got to her, she took a deep breath and looked back at Justin who was still looking at her as she left. She quickly stared off and faced Lucia”let’s go. I’ve been waiting there for long expecting to see you”she said as they started moving. Lucia looked back at justin to be sure it’s him. “Why are you coming from Justin’s direction?”Lucia asked her. “Oh you mean that sticky guy?”Charlie asked rolling her eyes. “Sticky guy?”Lucia repeated looking at her. “Yes.”she said. “I was surprised by how you treated him yesterday.

But now you called him a sticky guy.”Lucia said looking at her in amazement. “What’s the big deal in that? He’s just won’t let me be. I think he’s crushing on me”Charlie said.”what?”Lucia said and started laughing. Charlie looked at her wondering why she’s laughing. “Why? It’s not funny”she said looking at her. “Stay chill girl. I think you’re mistaken. Justin can’t crush on you or you mean to say you were crushing on him”Lucia said still laughing. “I don’t think that’s funny”Charlie said folding her arms. “OK let me tell you something since you’re new.”Lucia began clearing her throat. “Follow me”Lucia said dragging chairlie with her. They got to a place and Charlie opened the door. They both went through the door walking side by side. Charlie looked around and saw different pictures of Justin and few students on banners hung on the wall. Some of the pictures was snapped with him holding an award.
“Why are we here?”she asked Lucia. Lucia stopped and faced her”you can see different type of pictures and awards. Justin won most of them. He’s so good in different type of sport games. Football, basketball, baseball, table tennis and all. And to crown it all he’s a top student in school. He’s so brilliant and smart. I thought he was from another planet. He’s too perfect to be a student. Because of this, many female student fell for him and want his attention seriously.”Lucia said smiling. Charlie looked at all the awards again and looked back at lucia. “He’s indeed a genus”she said in amazement. That both started moving out of the place. “Different type of girls confessed to him day by day but they all got rejected by him. But when you told me he’s crushing on you, I can’t think of anything but to laugh out”Lucia said almost laughing again. They got out and started heading back to the compound. “I think I went too far”Charlie said under her breath. “What’s that?”Lucia asked as she can’t hear what she said. “It’s nothing.”she replied smiling.

Hanna and her friends were coming towards there direction. When they got to them, Hanna stopped in front of her.”you better watch your behavior here if you don’t want to be in trouble by me”she said sounding annoyed. Charlie looked at her wondering what her point was. “What’s the problem with you Hanna”Lucia said stepping forward. Hanna looked at her angrily”you better stay out of this. Am not here for you”she said looking at her. “Hanna why did you say that?”Charlie asked to be sure if what she’s saying. “I won’t say than that. Be careful and know your place”Hanna said and walked out. Clara and Mina looked at them and also went after Hanna. Charlie and Lucia turned back looking at them as the left. “What a rude brat”Lucia said clenching her teeth in anger”What’s she talking about? I didn’t do anything to annoy her, why is she so mean?”Charlie thought to herself still looking at her back view.
