”Just surprised” Adesua replied
”About what?” Kehinde asked further
”It’s too early for a visit” Adesua said but before Kehinde could reply, Lance came in.
”Arrhh!! My Boss, how far?? You sounded drained down on the phone” Kehinde said
”My guy eeh, leave matter” Lance said and sat on the dinning table
”Good Morning glowing” Lance greeted Adesua who was just looking at him. Before they could say anything further, Lance began drinking the tea on the table. Kehinde and Adesua being confused sat and looked at him. He finished the tea and well prepared sandwich and balanced well on the dinning chair..
”What??” Lance exclaimed looking at both of them who were just looking at him saying nothing
” I have told you to go and get a wife but you have refused” Kehinde said
”That was the food prepared for me by my wife” He added barking jokingly
”Man, forget that matter. If hunger jam you eeh” Lance said and looked at Adesua
”Thank you Ma” He said
”And what happened to the big big hotels you normally goes to eat?” Adesua asked
”Those ones?? They are readymade jare. This one is wait and take. Straight from the pot. Painted fingers and weavon no enter inside” Lancelot said and they all bursted into laughter
”I dey tell you ooh.. All those ladies that paint and dress like witches saying that they are attendants” Lancelot added as the continued laughing
”But you know you can’t be doing this always. If you come to my house like this, I will send my dog after you” Kehinde said laughing
”At least I will die in your house. Na normal thing” Lance said opening up his shirt.
”You better go and marry.” Kehinde said and Adesua left laughing to make another meal for her husband.
”This your wife is really good” Lance praised Adesua
”You can say that again brother” Kehinde said without doubting
”I pray getting one like this” Lance said
”What of those ashawao that you mingle with?” Kehinde asked
”Haa!! Bro, no insult me nah. I am tired of them big time. All they do is screech you to the climax” Lance said;
”But that’s what you always wanted” Kehinde attacked his statement
”I need to settle down my brother” Lance said
”Na now you begin get sense small small” Kehinde said to Lance who hit him the fancy fan on the table but Kehinde dodged it.
”Well Bro, I will be heading for Lagos by next month” Kehinde said to Lance
”Heii!! So that hunger cam kill me here??” Lance asked
”Shut up.. Got to make my wife feel happy and also I got some things to put up around there” Kehinde said and smiled
”Alright Bro.. Just don’t look at those Lagos kwashiokors that calls themselves ladies” Lance said to Kehinde
”Hmmm.. Preacher, I have heard” Kehinde said. Few seconds later, Adesua walked in with another tray of food
”Hope my name is written in this book ooh” Lance asked
”No ooh.. Don’t even think of it” Adesua said
”Hmm.. I will cry ooh” Lance said pretending crying
”Ooh.. Small baby, here’s yours” Adesua said serving Lance and he smiled
”So for your mind now you don dey share wife with me abi??” Kehinde asked lance who never answered him. They ate breakfast and Lance left for work.

”He is such a funny man” Adesua said to Kehinde few minutes after the meal
”Sure he is. I pray he gets a good wife” Kehinde said
”So do I” Adesua added.
”Yes dear, we will be leaving for Lagos next month” Kehinde told Adesua
”Seriously?” Adesua asked
”Yes, just as you wanted” Kehinde replied and Adesua hugged him
”Anything for you sweethrart” Kehinde said in smiles..

”Babe eeh, I and my husband will be leaving for Lagod next month” Adesua said To Anita who sat opposite her late in the afternoon
”Wow!! What you always wanted” Anita said
”I was surprised when he said it” Adesua said

”He never goes to where he does not have business contracts” Anita added
”Are you sure he does not and is using using it to attract you?” Anita asked
”I have been thinking of that. Anyways, I don’t care about that” Adesua said
”Alright, but why are you happy about this lagos” Anita asked
”I was born there jare and since then I haven’t been there. Always on tours abroad and other stuffs” Adesua said and Anita laughed
”Just that?” Anita asked
”Harr!! Abeg ooh, home sweet home.
Those primary school Oh! My home you no dey hear am abi?” Adesua asked Anita and they laughed
”I heard all of that” Kehinde said walking in
”Serious! What did you hear?” Anita asked
”Everything” Kehinde said and Kissed Adesua
”Alright, tell us what you heard” Adesua said
”I’m not a lady, I don’t do gossips” Kehinde said
”Hmm.. It’s a lie” Adesua said
”Are you a learner?” Anita asked Adesua in her normal slang and they laughed
”He is a learner jare..” Adesua said and the happiness continued..
