MY EYES
Episode 6

“Yes, you did something that change our lives and I couldn’t bring myself to forgive you but I had no option, I had to forgive you knowing you are my child. So please don’t do anything that will rewrite history”, my mother pleaded.

I was stunned, I couldn’t believe my ears. So some definitely happened back in the village and it has something to do with me. I turned to look at the young man’s spirit crying and I couldn’t leave.

“Mom please just give me a chance I won’t do anything stupid this time”, I pleaded.

“Why can’t you listen to me for once, we need to get some good and fruits for your sister can’t you understand?”, my mother added.

“Please”, I pleaded once again, and this tike she left the reception angrily.

I rushed to the young man’s spirit, when he turned to see me approaching he was terrified.

“You can see me?”, he asked.

“Of course I can, I was troubled by your constant weeping. Is there anything you want me to do for you?”, I asked admiring his lovely face.

“I miss my family, now I know what it really means to have people who can come through for you in your lowest moment. I never cherished my family but today I really miss them and want to be around them once again, they where the only ones that came to the hospital to see me but my fiancee and friends never came to see me after all the money and help I render to them”, the young man revealed.

I felt really bad for him, I could not understand why people would want to push away their family for outsiders. Well some outsider could be your forever family when the only family you needed the most let you down

“Am here now for you, what do I need to do for you?”, I asked while contemplating on what to do for him.

He was busy speaking but I was deep in thoughts, I lost concentration.

Suddenly the voice inside my head spoke for he second time, “he needs to forgive his family for what they did to him, and he should open his heart to love again that’s the only way he can get back to his body and stay alive he still has more time to live on earth”, the voice whispered.

I was stunned, and at same time hopeful that a solution was made know to me.

“I have a solution for you, but you have to promise me that you will adhere to instructions”, I said to him.

“Yes I will do anything you want me to do”, he quickly agreed.

I began to notice how people where looking at me in a strange way, they could not see the Spirit so it felt like I was speaking to myself and I looked crazy.

I told the young man what he had to do and he genuinely spoke some words for forgiveness and prayed to God for the heart of genuine Love.

Right before my eyes he began to fade away, I could not understand why but his spirit was fading away.

“I never got to ask, what’s your name?”, I asked.

He smiled and replied “Jake”, he replied.

“Am Gabby”, I announced loudly forgetting I was in a space full of people they looked at me in disgust.

I watched how Jake’s spirit faded away right before my eyes, I was marvelled.

I quickly rushed out of the hospital to catch up with my mother who was patiently waiting for me in the car.

“Sorry mom, I know I took so much time”, I said.

“Hope no one saw any strange thing you where doing?”, she asked.

“I don’t care, even if they saw what will they do?”, I asked.

“Hm Gabby, I don’t want to start saying anything I have forgotten better use your glaring tongue and count your 32 teeth”, she spat.

“You keep speaking in parables but you never tell me what the issue is, I have been asking you what happened in the village before we moved to the city but you always keep me mute but here you are giving a ridiculous advise to not use what I have”, I yelled.

“Gabby don’t get me started, am your mother so you have to give me some respect “, she argued.

“Respect? You never care about me or took me as you child ever since we moved to the city. You hate me so much, that you refused to come close to me. You always locked me up in the room and only open up when I needed food, you treated me like a stranger and you despise me. Why?”, I cried out.

“Gabby, you are witch. You killed your father, you killed people in the village while you where still a little. Just 7 years of age you where doing strange things and always predicted evil things that would happen. You killed the only man I loved”, my mother cried out.

I was terrified in hearing all she had to say, so I killed my father and I never knew anything about it all these while?
