FIVE MONTHS LATER
Daniel came back home to a sweet aroma of Afang soup with periwinkle and other seafood filled the whole house.
Ever since Vivian enrolled for the class and learnt how to cook different delicacies,she was determined to always spoil her husband with good food.
So immediately Daniel came back home,he walked into the kitchen only to notice that Vivian was cooking four different dishes at a time.
“Wow!” He said as he pulled Vivian close to himself from behind
“You’re cooking four dishes at the same time honey…. Oftentimes I wonder where you draw your strength from “ Daniel commended
Is nothing honey…. I’m preparing this delicacies for the world best husband
“Aww…. Now you’re making me to blush” Daniel said as he kissed her on the neck and she whimpers
“Stop honey…please I’m in the kitchen, don’t even start now…”
“Alright I will be a good boy,so do my lovely wife mind showing me what she’s preparing?” Daniel asked with a smile
“Yes of course… I’m preparing friend plantain and scrambled eggs for dinner” Vivian said as she teased Daniel
And this made Daniel and Vivian to burst into tremendous laughter
Then Daniel said
“Is that my Appetizer or my main meal?…”
And they both laughed out to it
And just then Vivian held her stomach
“What’s the problem honey” Daniel asked
“Ouch…is nothing, the baby just kicked… I guess he is also laughing to our jokes” Vivian said with a wide grin
Daniel rubbed his hands on Vivian tummy and said
“Don’t kick mummy too much my son…. Please take it easy on her”.
“…..But Vi…I think we need a house help in this house my love,I can’t risk seeing you running around with house chores alone in this house,please don’t say no” Daniel pleaded
“There’s no need for that honey,I grew up with so many maids surrounding me,and for now I really wish to explore so many things by myself, don’t worry we will get a house help,but not now,okay” Vivian voiced calmly as she touches Daniel cheek
They talked and chatted throughout the day,before they had their dinner and retired to the bed for the night.
Daniel made sure he took care of Vivian and didn’t ever want to stress her, he always massaged her swollen feet and made sure they went out for a stroll in the night.
Four months later, Vivian put to bed,and it was a set of twins.
She gave birth in Canada.
She was only expecting one child,she never knew she had two little cuties in her womb.
Daniel held his bundle of joy in his arms and praised God
She sent message to his mother in-law; Mrs Ndidiobi and she took the next flight with her husband; Samuel and they came to Canada
It was a time of reunion and happiness.
Daniel thanked God that he didn’t divorce his wife,he was glad that God also helped his wife to change at the point that he has almost given up on everything.
Vivian also thanked God for his blessings in her life, especially for blessing her with a man like Daniel.
They named their little cuties Nathaniel and Ephraim
And they lived in joy ever after, as they continually asked God for the grace to train their kids rightly ,and not to train them with stings of what the past has done to them.
