It has been a day since we last seen Twirly, I blamed myself for taking him to the sea where he was found when he was little, we are home everything was not as it used to be when he was here, I missed him dearly and my wife was thrashing around the house, the door opened and Twirly walked in. I stood up and rushed towards him hugging him happily, he seemed taken aback but he said nothing.
I looked behind him only to be met by a beautiful girl, who was looking at me intensely like she could read through me.
“And you are,”I asked, staring back at her.
“I’m Arielle, your son’s friend,” she said plainly.
“Let’s leave the formalities” Twirly chipped in and I frowned.
“Where have you been?” I asked in happiness, I thought you drowned and died.
“It’s a long story, where is mum? he asked, looking around.
“She is upstairs in her room, she will be happy to see you”I said and walked towards the room, dragging him out towards the room. She gasped in shock immediately she set her eyes on him, tears of joy streamed down her face as she hugged him.
“I have something to tell you but you have to come to the swimming pool at the backyard”he said and I nodded and we started walking towards the backyard with Arielle trailing behind us.
Twirly jumped into the swimming pool and he splashed water on us, and saw a blue light shining brightly but I thought I was hallucinating until I saw him swimming out showing a big blue tail, and a dragon figure with scales all over he’s body like that of a fish, what I gasped and taken aback.
My eyes widen in shock immediately I saw a tail, not just a tail but a real merman, I never believed they were real until I saw Twirly transformed into one. My wife fainted immediately and I was scared to death because she is just a month gone(pregnant), I was scared for the life of the unborn child, we planned on telling him immediately he came back. It was in fairy tales that this always happen but this is not a fairy tale but a real life scene, pinching my self to make sure I wasn’t daydreaming, he looks more handsome in the merman form.
It’s still hard to believe, I can’t relate with merman’s they are bad and always looking for the downfall of the humans.
“Who the hell are you” I asked Twirly moving backward fearfully, with my gaze looking around for any sharp object that I can use as a self defense.
“I am a merman dad” he said smilling. The information shocked me really hard that my mouth was agaped, then I noticed my wife fainted, Twirly tried moving towards me.
“Don’t you dare come near me, you this evil thing” I stated bitterly with tears dropping down my eyes, the smile was wiped away from he’s mouth and was replaced by sadness. But I don’t care, all I care about is getting away from him safely with my wife, the whole time Arielle, the girl who was brought home by Twirly was glaring angrily and dangerously at me, she did not look shocked at all, it seems she knew about it also.
“Dad, please don’t leave me” Twirly said and I shakes my head sadly.
“Am not your dad anymore”I replied coldly with my eyes stained with tears.
“You also knew about this”I said pointing at Arielle glaring daggers at her.
I bent low and shooked my wife but she refuses to wake up which results me into slapping her lightly before she open her eyes, she looks around before her eyes landed on me.
“Honey tell me this isn’t true, it’s just a dream” my wife told me and I shook my head sadly wishing it was all a dream but sadly I will have to accept the bitter truth.
“You need to get going now, you have overstayed your welcome”I stated grimly.
“Dad please don’t do this to me” he cried out swimming out of the pool, he successfully swim out of the pool drying he’s body with a towel which was thrown to him by Arielle. She also seems mysterious because she snaps her hand and a towel appeared on her hands, Twirly kept crying and he’s tears dropped down on the floor turning into a pearl.
My eyes widen in shock, it seems like he’s tears turned into pearl, suddenly a bright light shown and he’s tail disappeared only to be replaced by legs.
“Twirly, get out of my house and never come back”I said and he walk out dejectedly, the girl beside him shot me a killer glance and am sure I will be seven feet down if looks could kill.
He walk out of the gate and the security man shut the door close, the ringing tone of my phone jolt me out of my thoughts.
“Hello” I said immediately I picked the call, and I walk inside supporting my wife whose eyes were swollen due to the crying.
“Sir, the company has caught fire”my personal assistant said through the phone and I gasped, the phone fell from my hands.
🧞 Twirly 🧞
My eyes sting as I walk out of the house, my heart is clenched making me whimper in pain. My family denied me after finding my real Identity, Arielle hugged me patting my back. I looked back one more time walking out fully.
“It’s going to be alright,” Arielle said, trying to console me.
“I need to find my real parents” I said looking up with determination.
“You can’t just barge into the kingdom or else you will get killed, you need to find the golden trident, so that you will be able to rescue your parents” she said and I nodded.
“Where can I find the golden trident?” I asked and he sighed.
“It was said that the golden trident was located in the depths of the ocean in Emerald,” she said.
“How are we going to reach there, there is no money with me right now” I replied dejectedly thinking of how we will get there.
“I can teleport you there, but it is going to take a while before I can also teleport again, I am still learning how to teleport many people to a longer distance without getting tired” she said and I smiled happily, I can’t be more happy than I am, having a caring and understandable friend is really good.
“Thanks, I owe you” I said, bumping my clenched fist on her shoulder, making her wince in pain.
“Does my punch hurt?” I asked, staring at her concernedly, she was messaging hee shoulder and avoiding eye contact. She looked up and suddenly burst into laughter, tricking me into believing she was hurt. I chased her and jumped on her throwing a series of punches and she dodge it all, making me erranged.
I tried punching her chick but she dodged it.
“Are you trying to hit my beautiful chick, you tried to ruin my fine face,” she said with her eyebrows raised slightly. I stood up from her body, and arranged my clothes properly.
“Let’s go get the trident, I don’t want to waste time. I really needed to see my biological parents, and the thought of the betrayal of my foster parents flashed into my head but I shook it off.
” The journey we are about to commence is a dangerous one, so I will advise you to stay in a save place until I found you or else you will get yourself killed” she said sternly and I nodded
“Okay, let’s get this done once and for all” I replied, she walked towards me holding my hand.
“Close your eyes” she said and I did, soon I could not feel on my hands.opening my eyes I gasped out in shock as I found myself in the middle of the ocean floating and breathing in and putting on oxygen without any difficulties. I was not surprised because I am now a merman.
I looked at my blue tail which ruminated brightly in the ocean. I looked up as I heard a rumbling and destructive sound from afar, the ocean shook vigorously. I looked up and what I saw was really shocking and scary. It was a siren like a mermaid. It had three heads with its bluefin glowing brightly, a cold shiver ran down my spine as the siren launched at me.
What am I going to do? Arielle is not here to help me.
Twirly swerved to the left and uses he’s tail to hit the water, splashing it and using it as a shield. The man’s eyes glowed and the arrows returned impaling themselves on he’s tail, he groaned and he’s tail start bleeding. He’s blood turned into fire, the fire burnt he’s tail for a while and stops. Twirly looked at he’s tail and was happy when he saw it was healed already, he’s happiness was ruined by the growling of the siren.
The siren was extremely angry that he couldn’t hurt him so he summoned his trident, and the trident turned red in contact with his hands. Twirly gasped at the sight making the siren smirk at him.
“Don’t tell me you are scared already?” The siren asked mockingly, and twirly tried hard not to be scared but confident outward but inwardly he was scared .
“Who told you am afraid of you, am just thinking of how to deal with you,” Twirly said rudely, praying Arielle to come on time to save me from this evil siren.
Arielle strength was drained after she teleported Twirly, she fell to the ground and gasped for breath. There was nothing she could do to fasten his recuperation, than to wait. She have to be by Twirly side now because it seems it is now that he needs me more. She could feel him panic but she only wait for her recuperation. He is just a newly turned Merman and haven’t experienced what it seems to go to war. Arielle was unable to move any part of her body but now she can move her fingers, she was surprised when she was able to recuperate faster than before. She teleported out of sight and appeared in an unknown place or rather a sea, she swam in the vast ocean trying to look for twirly.
Then she saw two sirens guard, she sneaked away from them towards the direction she think Victoria would have gone. She heard a cry for help from afar, the voice sounds familiar like Twirly’s , she swam speedily towards the direction. As she swam forward she collide with a siren, the siren looks at her with hatred.
The sirens hate mermaids and merman, although they might be if the same species. They hated them because of what happens between them(remind me to tell you guys later), they now hated them with passion.
“What the hell are you doing here”the siren asked angrily, staring at Arielle. Arielle also glared back at him, with her arms crossed.
“It seems cat got your tongue, I will kill you this moment” the siren shouted with a smirk, Arielle seems unmoved by his threat.
” You have been sent to spy our land, hun” the siren said and wasted no time in charging towards her.
Arielle swerved to the left escaping the punch of the siren, she uses her palm to hit the siren and the siren flew backwards. The siren bares his fangs at her, with his hand stretched forward, a trident appeared in his hands and he wasted no time in charging towards Arielle who also summoned her trident.
The clang of metals could be heard immediately their trident hits each other forcefully, Arielle uses her trident to spin the water creating a water tornado. The water to ends was thrown towards the siren and he swam through it unhurt, Arielle was really shocked not expecting him to pass through his water tornado like that unhurt. They both charged at each other forcefully and aggressively, the siren tried cutting Arielle tail but she uses hee tail to hit the water creating a shield around her tail. Arielle eyes glowed brightly and the water start circling around her, soon Arielle was unable to be spot, she was nowhere to be found. She seems to have blended with the water, a punch landed on the siren head and he turned back and was unable to spot her.
The siren stared deeply into the water and saw Arielle trying to punch him but he grabbed her hands and twisted it before throwing her far away. The siren rolled his trident in a circular motion and a water formed creating a mermaid from behind, Arielle was unaware of what the siren have done. The water mermaid he created grabbed her from behind and knock her out cold. Arielle falls to the ground unconscious and motionless.
