I looked around and I saw an octopus moving towards me, looking closely it seemed like it was stalking me because I swam away and it followed me.
“What do this octopus want with me, haven’t I had enough of shocking things today? ” I said out loud knowing it won’t hear me, wait I heard some Merman and Mermaid can communicate with them.
“Can you please show me the way out?” I asked and the octopus started shaking, making me extremely scared.
The octopus transformed into a young merman looking man, shocking me further, the panging headache returned and I passed out due to the shock.
Authoress POVAfter he passed out the young mermaid walked up to him and carried him towards a direction, she placed him in a cave and swam out of the cave, she cut some herbs and swam back towards the cave with the herbs in her hand. She grinded the herbs and used it to rub he’s forehead, she swam out speedily and went in search of food knowing he will be hungry by the time he wakes up.
She felt an aura radiating around him when she found him which makes her transform into an octopus to know if he is a threat to her, no one knew she was living there.
After she swam a little bit forward she saw a fish heading towards her, she caught them all and swam towards the direction of the cave, she entered just in time to see him awake.
🧞 Twirly 🧞I woke up with a pounding headache, hoping to wake up in my room but was surprised when I saw myself sleeping in the water and inside a cave, I saw a young woman swimming towards me with a bag in her hands, she was beautiful but I didn’t know what she did to me while I was unconscious.
“Who are you?” I asked, looking at her cautiously and looking around me to see if I could lay my hands on any weapon to defend myself.
“I should be asking you that and you should thank me for saving you ass, when you fall unconscious” the young Mermaid said and I sighed.
“What are you doing here, no one knows I live here and more so all the mermaids and merman were captured five years ago, so how are you here? ” she asked, looking at me suspiciously.
” I don’t get it, I just found out my parents aren’t my biological parents, and the shocking part is that I’m a merman dragon, in just a day” I said and a groan escaped my mouth and my stomach growled, I hid my face in embarrassment.
“Here you can have this,”she said, tossing the bag towards me. I opened it and saw raw fish inside, raising an eyebrow.
“How do you expect me to eat this, it isn’t cooked?”I replied, raising an eyebrow.
“Oh, I forget you just turned into a merman I said and pointed my hands at the fish and it became roasted.
“What happens to the mermaids and merman’s?” I asked, still devouring the fish.
Then she explained to me what happened to them, how they were captured and how the king and the head warrior was killed.
When she told me the head warrior was killed I felt a pang of sadness in my heart, before the seer of the ocean was killed he told them that a merman will rise and save the Pacific kingdom from the hand of the bad king, the Merman will be a blue tailed Merman and will save them with the golden trident, he said and I gasped.
“Don’t tell me I’m the blue tailed Merman” I said out loud and she gasped when realization hit her.
“You are the legendary blue tailed merman” she said and bowed her head making me confused.

I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, here in front of me was the legendary Blue Tailed mermaid. Should have recognized him before but I was too busy to check he’s tail. I bowed my head and he stared at me confusedly, making me laugh inwardly. He has a lot of responsibility on he’s shoulders, he needs to embark on the journey,that will save the Pacific since they are being slathered daily like chickens.
“Why are you bowing to me? he asked confusedly and I raised my head up only to be met with he’s ocean blue eyes which entrapped me into staring at him intensively. I was soon drowning in love.
“Why are you staring at me like that?, is something on my face?” He said waving he’s hands making me snap out of my drooling.
“What are your questions again?” I asked, scratching my head and looking somewhere else. I don’t believe in love at first sight but now I do, I always thought it’s only humans who love at first sight.
“Why are you bowing to me?Why are you staring at me creepily? Is something on my face?” He asked and I cringed, since I don’t know where to start from.
“Which one should I answer first?”I asked looking at him and he rolled he’s eyes making him more adorable.
“All of them” he stated impatiently.
“You are the blue Tailed merman and you are to be treated with respect” I said, stopping to catch my breath.
“There is nothing in your face, it’s just that I have not seen any Merman as cute as you,” I added truthfully and he blushed really hard.
“How the hell am I going to get out of here” he asked and I sighed, he is so hell bent on leaving this place after knowing he has a huge responsibility.
“I will take you out but on one condition”I was saying but he cut me off.
“Which he snapped impatiently.
“You will go on the quest to find the golden trident, and also we will leave tomorrow because the Pacific are dying in the hands of that monster” I said with grimace with my mind flashing back to the incident which happened where I lost my parents and siblings.
My eyes stung with unshed tears, I sniffed and I sighed before I looked up only to see him staring at me.
“We need to leave quickly”I said and he nodded.
