MARRIED TO MY TEACHER
Episode 7
I realized that she felt the same way and there was nothing to hid from her anymore. I confessed my feelings and it went well. That was how our love started and grew stronger . Sometimes when I was with her , she will be asking ” how we got that deep in the love” .But how we started was no longer my problem .All I wanted was to give her all the love that any responsible man will give to his charming and lovely wife or girl.
I wrote JAMB successfully and when the results were released, I passed successfully. I was very happy, without showing the result to my parents, I rushed to our company and showed my boss the scores. He was very happy and he congratulated me . I smiled and said “sir now the part 1 is done,The only thing I am waiting for now is the helper which is the part 2. He smiled and replied “but the part 2 has already been signed”. I thought maybe since I started the game he wanted to continue playing it with me . But I asked again “sir how ” He replied Because I have already signed everything “to me the game was going farther but he sounded seriously. He showed me some documents that he signed. According to him, I will be given a scholarship to study in the university if I pass the JAMB successfully.
I stood there speechless with tears in my eyes but he came close and hugged me. I was short of words not even knowing what I will say to him that will please him.
I later got to understand that the company gave him the documents to write any if his child’s name and the company will assist him/her in school just to show him some love for all he did to the company but, instead he wrote my name.
I rushed home to tell my parents how God blessed us again, but When I got home I saw all my family members at the parlour as if they were having a meeting not knowing what was happening I went and sat close to my father silently.
Before I will understand what was going on they started clapping, My siblings came and hugged me . Perhaps Ephraim went through my JAMB results and announced my performance to them, I guessed. I smiled “you are congratulating me for my good work so where did you think I will get money for admission.” I asked just to get an answer.
“Well I will allow clement to answer this question” My father interrupted.
Clement said, they were planning already immediately they were told I was writing my JAMB exams .
It was at that moment that I broke the good news about my scholarship to them.and I told them to use whatever savings kept for my admission to move their business to it’s standard.
That day was indeed a day of celebration.I failed to call Lizzy because I never wanted my parents to know what was going on between us at that moment.But I was shocked when she appeared In the house happily congratulating me. “I didn’t call to tell you about anything so how did u get to know” I asked. she smiled and said “my father did”. I was shocked because I thought my father was not aware of our relationship “indeed parents have many eyes ” I whispered to her . She was not happy for what I did,I knew it was my fault but it was because I was not ready to tell my parents that moment.
I apologized to her in front of my siblings and my parents because there was nothing to hid anymore. Although they knew but I had to tell them my self, I introduced her to my parents as the woman after my heart .The only woman that showed me true love.
We were no longer celebrating one thing but two things at a time, my success and my fiance.
I was given admission to study business management and I had to resume school a month later.
I went to inform my boss and he told me that Micheal will return from England a week before my resumption I felt I was on top of the world that day ,I wished the day was that moment.
Since he left to England for his Aeronautical engineering courses, I always wished to see him to give some words of appreciation for all he has done in my life. ” So after so many years, I will see my helper and Friend again”……..
