So, This is Love? Episode 21 – Judith Onyoyibo

Hearing about Mike’s plight made me really emotional. I suppressed my tears through out my ride home with Lisa.

When I got home, I marched upstairs and dropped my bag on the bed before I laid helplessly on the floor worshipping God.

“Oh my good Jesus! When I thought you abandoned me, you were only preparing a banquet for me. Who am I that you are so mindful of 😭😭😭. You said in your words that you knew me before I was born and the thought you have for me are of good and not of evîl, so you were really serious?”. I wept bitterly.

There and then, I vowed to always let God have his ways in my life and never try to get ahead of God in all my dealings.

When I was a bit calm, I went into the jacuzzi and immersed myself in it. Sometimes, the solution to some of your problems is just a cool bathe 😁.

“Is my baby home?”. Stephen shouted as soon as he entered into the house.

I blushed sheepishly. I quickly grabbed a robe from my closet and put it on.

I rushed downstairs to welcome my husband.

“Why do you look exceptionally beautiful this evening”. He teased.

I laughed softly.

“Welcome dear”. I placed my hands around his neck and kissed him on his forehead.

He protested like a toddler. “Not there”. He pouted.

“Where?”. I asked feigning ignorance.

“My lips”. He said.

I removed my hands from his neck and tried to run away from him but he quickly ran after me. He caught me right on the stairs and planted a kiss on my lips. I resisted at first before surrendering to his touch.

What started as an innocent kiss graduated into an intense romance. Right on the stairs, we got intimate.

He carried me into the bedroom and we ended it on our matrimonial bed.

By the time were done, we were so exhausted.
I couldn’t afford to lazy around because I needed to prepare dinner for my husband.

I stood up but my husband quickly grabbed me back to the bed, holding me hostage.

“I don’t want you out of my sight”. He said pleadingly.

“I only want to prepare your dinner”. I said.

“Let’s order for takeouts tonight. Let me just hug you the whole night”. He said clinging tightly unto me.

“Do you love me that much”. I asked smiling.

“You don’t wanna know “. He said whilst cuddling me firmly.

In less than ten minutes, he was already fast asleep.

I carefully sneaked out of the bed. I ordered for some food online from chicken republic. In less than 40mins, it was delivered.

My husband was still fast asleep. I had to wake him so he could eat.

He had his bath before joining me in the dining.

We were still in the dining when his immediate younger sister called him on phone. He didn’t take the call at first but she kept calling nonstop.

My husband doesn’t like us talking during mealtime. Because of the urgency of the call, he had to excuse himself to take the call.

He joined me shortly after a while. We ate quietly.

We were in the sitting room seeing a movie after dinner when he brought up a topic for discussion.

“It was my immediate younger sister that called”. He said.

“Hope everything is okay”. I asked.

“Her daughter wants to spend the holiday here”. He said.

I didn’t say anything.

“I told her I’d have to tell you about it before making any decision ” He said.

“It’s okay actually. At least, I will have a companion whenever you aren’t home”. I said.

“Are you really okay with her joining us? I don’t want you to do something that would make you uncomfortable”. He said.

“I’m okay with the idea. When is she coming?”. I asked.

“Next week “.

“No prob”.

A week later, Natasha joined us in Lagos. She just finished secondary school so she said she needed a break from home.

She’s a very beautiful young girl who is full of life and has a positive vibes. We bonded so well the day she came. My husband was so happy that I liked his niece.

The next morning, Natasha didn’t wake up till past eleven. I thought maybe she was tired from the long trip she took the previous day.

After greeting me, the next thing she did was to go straight into the kitchen to dish food for herself and she went back into her room to eat.

The unwashed dishes she met at the kitchen sink wasn’t her concern.

I saw her attitude a bit off but I just overlooked it.

She didn’t come out of her room till 3pm. She only came out and dumped her plate on the kitchen sink without washing it.

When I saw the plate, I was so pissed off. She saw the kitchen completely clean and still dumped her dirty plate on the sink.

I just overlooked her dirty attitude for the second time.

She came to my room at around 4:15pm that she wants to go out to see someone.

“Who do you know in Lagos?”. I asked surprised.

“He is my friend. He is even coming to pick me up”. She said.

“I can’t allow you go out with a guy I don’t even know’. I said dismissively.

“Do you have to know my friends before I can hang out with them?”. She asked rudely.

I gave her a deadly stare and she grudgingly left for her room.

Few minutes later, her mom called me and asked me to allow Natasha go out.

Not long after,, Natasha came to tell me she was going out and she left before I could give her my permission.

Then and there, I knew living with her would stress my life out.

To be continued.
