When I got home that night, I called Adegbe and told him everything I saw when Mummy was praying for me, we thanked God together and we continued our wedding plans.
When my parents and siblings discovered that I was still going ahead with my wedding plans, they were all mad at me, every day my mother will nag and nag me, telling me that I donโt want to hear word, that I want to go the same way my sisters went.
Sometimes mama will just sit down and be crying, that I am causing her pain and that I donโt want to do as she said.
Mama donโt worry about me, Jesus has delivered me from that evil spell, I have prayed and God has answered. I told them not to worry about me and that they will see a difference between my marriage and my sistersโฆ
They didnโt believe me sha! oohโฆ but I never cared!
We got married 3 months later, and everything went well and glorious at our wedding.
Exactly 9 months after our wedding God blessed us with a baby boy; I named my son, Prevail! it was a surprise to my entire family.
First, in the history of our entire lineage, a lady got married properly, before having a child, I became a wonder to all my sisters, my mother came for Omugwo and she was overwhelmed with joy.
Three months after my delivery was our one-year wedding anniversary and so my eldest sister called me that morning to congratulate me on my wedding anniversary, after wishing us a happy wedding anniversary, she said Chioma, please tell me what did you do that broke the curse off you?
I laughed and told her that Jesus did it for me ooh!
I donโt understand, kid sister, how did Jesus did it, biko I want to knowโฆ
I told her how I went about setting myself free from that spellโฆ the fasting and prayer and the scriptures that we used to war and all thatโฆ
Chioma do you know all that time you were telling us how Jesus will set you free, we were all laughing at youโฆ
We thought it will not work like ours, after your wedding, our ears were all set to hear the usual but it was never like that with you my sisterโฆ
Please tell me what you did I want to marry too, I also want to have a family and be happy like you too.
I smiled on the other end of the phone and said sister, you have to become serious with God first, get born again, Jesus cannot deliver just anybody you must become his child.
I am ready said sister Mary without hesitation, anything you say I should do now I will do oohโฆ
Are you for the real sister I said jokingly

Ok, let me lead you to Christ right awayโฆ
Say, Lord Jesus, I come to you today and acknowledge that I am a sinner, please forgive me my sins and accept me as your daughter from today grant me the grace to always say no to sin and help me to live my life according to your will in Jesus name I pray Amen.
My sister say those prayers firmly with me and she became born again.
I prayed with her and plan a fasting and prayer programme with her, then I told her I will like to involve the rest of our sisters in the fasting programme and I volunteered to speak to my pastor about it so that my pastor will come and do a family deliverance prayer for us all.
I told her I will get back to her when I am able to secure a date from my pastor.
So the next day, I went to see pastor Dan and explained everything to him, he agreed to pray for my entire family including our parents, and he gave me the date for the prayer programme I thanked him and left his office.
When I got home, I called my sisters to inform them about the prayer and fasting programme, they all agreed to participate, so I opened a family WhatsApp group for me and all my siblings, we started praying together immediately, and I led them all to Christ and they became all serious with God afterward.
We all traveled home to my fatherโs house in the village on the day the fasting was to start and we all participated fully, it went successfully Pastor Dan came to our house to pray with us on the last day of the prayerโฆ it was fireโฆ..
The power of God was evident, my Elder sisters and parents all came under power, with series of manifestations,
hmmmmmm, Adegbe was there with me we prayed and seek heavenโs interventionโฆ and God indeed heard us.
That was how God delivered my entire family from that evil spell that was following us for ages. God is great indeed!
Today as I write, my three elder sisters have all returned to their husband’s houses, they have all given birth to the numbers of children they wanted in their marriages, joy has returned to my family, my mother has traveled to all their houses for Omugwo, my father is a happy man now, my entire family now serve the real Jesus.
My marriage is 10 years old today and I am indeed grateful to God for using me to break that evil spell of no marriage that was hanging on my family for ages. Praise God forever!
